The next step in the evolution of the Dino 246GT was introduced in September 1971. The M-series. The chassisnumber range was from 1118 up to 2130. 497 cars were built. The suspension was improved. Externally the M-series can be identified by the missing center locks for the wheels and the bigger bumpers. For the first time RHD modellls were available.
