The Alfa Romeo of the 2600 ( 106 ) series had a completly new constructed 6 cyl. inline engine, made of aluminium like the Giulietta modells. The tecnical unit was the same which was used in the 2000 ( 102 ) series. The body had some modifications, the front nose was redesigned and the doors had quarterlight windows. 2152 lhd and 103 rhd cars were built
