The 2000 Berlina was introduced in june 1971 in Gardone with the 2000GT veloce and the 2000 spider veloce. After the commercial success of the 1750 Berlina Alfa Romeo decided to mount the 2000 engine in combination with bigger brakes and a limited slip differential. Just as the dashboard the interior was redesigned. The 2000 Berlina was a 190km/h sports saloon with only very few competitors on the market. On the Torino motor show an automatic version was introduced. 89840 cars were built
